Clogged Toilets

If your toilet clogs, you can typically use a plunger to clear the blockage. Push your plunger into place over the drain hole and ensure you create a seal. Next, move the plunger up and down to push the clog through the pipes.

Sinks & Showers

You might have a minor obstruction in your pipe if your sink or shower isn't draining properly. Please avoid pouring chemicals down the drain since they could harm the pipes.

Instead, use a drain cleaning tool to fish anything stuck in the drain out. Most hardware stores sell these for a few dollars.

If you lose power...

Call your utility provider to troubleshoot the problem. There may be local problems caused by bad weather or downed lines; there may also be specific problems with your account.

If you still need help after speaking to the electric company, call us.

If you don't have enough hot water in your rental, check your hot water heater settings. Does everything look correct? Is the tank in vacation or eco mode?

If you make any changes to the tank settings, wait 15 to 20 minutes before testing the water temperature again.

If your heat or air conditioning isn't working properly, use the central thermostat in your rental to troubleshoot the issue. Cycle the system off and on to attempt to restore system defaults; are any warning lights lit on the console?
